Biografía:

Hugo Xavier Bastidas nació en Quito, Ecuador en 1956. Recibió su Licenciatura de Bellas Artes (Bachelor of Fine Arts) en la Universidad Rutgers (Rutgers University) y su Máster de Bellas Artes en Hunter College en la Ciudad de Nueva York. El Sr. Bastidas exhibe sus obras en la Galería Norha Haime en la Ciudad de Nueva York, y en la Galería Antonio Battaglia en Milán, Italia. Hugo nos muestra sus imágenes post-históricas de colores sepia y café en ciento de exposiciones importantes en todo el mundo, incluyendo a:

Aunque es un profesor del departamento de Arte en New Jersey City University, también enseña pintura en la Liga de Estudiantes de Arte en la Ciudad de Nueva York (The Art Students League). Hugo Xavier Bastidas was born in Quito, Ecuador in 1956. He received his B.F.A. from Rutgers University and his Masters of Fine Art from Hunter College in New York City. Mr. Bastidas exhibits at Norha Haime Gallery, NYC, and Galeria Antonio Battaglia, Milan, Italy. He has shown his Posthistorical sepia-brown images at hundreds of significant exhibitions throughout the world, including:

The reviews of his exhibitions have been printed in Art in America, Art Nexus, New York Times, among other major publications. While he is a faculty in the Art Department at NJCU, he also teaches painting at The Art Students League, NYC. Bastidas works from a studio in New York City.
